Welcome Dr. Rhonda Kindred

Clayton County Community Services Authority Inc. Welcomes Dr. Rhonda Kindred as the agency’s New Executive Director.

Dr. Kindred has a wealth of experience as a senior level manager, knowledge of managing large scale budgets, and the understanding of how to collect and analyze data for planning, decision-making, and quality assurance.  She has managed both national and regional programs. She has managed programs working with children and families in Head Start (HS), Early Head Start (EHS), public schools, universities, federally funded early childhood projects, and community-based and private for profit early childhood programs.  She has managed a program associated with the Zero to Three Foundation and has also worked as a planning coordinator for an initiative funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation by working collaboratively with organizations within the community, including the Annie Casey Foundation.  She formerly worked at a Community Action Agency.

Dr. Kindred has a Ph.D. from Florida State University; an M.B.A. from Kaplan University; an M.S. from Troy State University; and a B.A. from Auburn University.  Dr. Kindred earned the Leadership of  the Year Award with ICF International within her division.  All of her staff had to agree for Dr. Kindred to receive this award.
